Mother Nature was so nice as to give us a glimpse of summer this past week! Looking forward to the next few months, when we’ll consistently have beautiful weather, it’s time to get some summer activities on the calendar.
Movies in the park is a great way to spend a pleasant summer evening. The Chicago Park District hosts these events in parks across the city almost every night from June into the beginning of September. The calendar has just been released, and weather pending, we’ll see you there!

Just in time for the warm temperatures in the Chicago forecast, the Kentucky Derby and Cinco De Mayo are knocking at our door. The first weekend in May will host both of these events, and here is the information you’ll need to keep busy celebrating all weekend!
On Saturday, ladies, dust off your big hats and men, put on your “Sunday’s Best” to get into the mindset for the Kentucky Derby.
